The 9th International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition comes up, beyond its condition of large fairground, as a reference for the companies and professionals of the sector. As the president of the fair, Enrique Lacalle, says, the offer of SIL 2007 “is out of Europe: we provide business opportunities in 4 continents and the most updated knowledge on logistics management, everything in a same platform”.

SIL will take place in Gran Via M2 Exhibition Center in Barcelone from the 5th to the 8th of June 2007, and 20 weeks before the opening more than 80% of the surface has already been booked. For the logistics sector companies, SIL is the best showcase for the services and products circulation, since it has become the meeting point of a thousand exhibitors and more than 45.000 professional visitors.

SIL 2007 has been designed to include both the Logistics and Material Handling Sectors. The Event welcomes companies supplying all kind of transport and logistics services, whether they are maritime, aerial, by road or by railway.

Likewise, the 9th edition of the Event will count with the confirmed presence of exhibitors who will launch from new products on traceability in barcode and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), to the last innovations in automation and packaging whithin the Material Handling sector.

The International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition internationalization has its reflection in the high participation of delegations of countries from Europe, Africa, America and Asia. The globalization, which has mainly contributed to logistics development and business expansion, has converted SIL in a mandatory exhibition for all those companies aiming sales in foreign markets.

With the purpose of facilitating the commercial relations with other countries, SIL 2007 will gather pavilions from Portugal, Mexico, Italy, France and Brazil. In these stands, the participants will be able to manage directly all the necessary information to access to these markets, which will be of advantage to the capacity of the Exhibition to create business among its exhibitors.
