Sicur 08: Lumicone lighting globe by Hispamast

Sicur 2008: The product by Hispamast is particularly recommended for fire engines and emergency vehicles, motorway emergency vehicles, on rescue cranes, on public works machinery, lighting of building sites, airports, harbours, etc.

The lighting globe patented by Fireco, a company of which Hispamast is a subsidiary, was another of the prize-winning products by the Gallery of New Products at SICUR 2008. It is a lighting system based on a telescopic mast that is operated with a single button from the ground, when reaching the intervention area. It is made in a fireproof, reflective fabric with Kevlar fibres that guarantee the optimum safe lighting.

Lumicone has the advantage of being the only globe that always remains mounted on the telescopic mast and is automatically unfolded and folded away without any handling from the ground, and without any assembly or electricity connection requirements. Using a single remote control the globe is inflated and placed in its lighting position. To put it away, Lumicone is automatically housed in a box that protects it from sunlight and inclement weather.

Servolux SX by Hispamast: emergency lighting with optimum autonomy

Hispamast, a subsidiary of Fireco, has recently launched Servolux on the market. A portable lighting device that has been chosen as an outstanding product within the Gallery of New Products at SICUR 2008. Servolux has been designed as emergency lighting when no electrical energy is available, with an independence range of up to 8 hours and a height of 3 metres.

It is conceived to replace the portable lighting material used by firemen, such as the tripod, power generators, electrical cable reel, floodlights, etc., with the added advantage of being very quiet with regard to the generating equipment.

The driving force of the product is supplied by a high performance battery, which allows around 600 recharging cycles without any gas emissions to the atmosphere, thanks to the GEL technology. On the upper part is the current outlet to feed the projector or the feed for other compatible devices; the battery may be recharged through this outlet.

The telescopic mast of the Servolux is endowed with manual blockages that allow the mast to be blocked at the desired height, as well as aiming the projector 360º. It can be folded and unfolded by hand and it has an air system that absorbs a possible quick descent of the sections. In this way, possible damage to the projector is avoided. Likewise, once it is completely unfolded, Servolux has a height from the ground of 2,400 mm with the projector in its vertical position. The projector gives a 70W 12v discharge.
