Project Las Vegas 2007
The PROJECT Global Tradeshow is a groundbreaking fashion event where leading directional brands communicate with the world’s most innovative retailers.
PROJECT burst onto the scene in 2003 and has since emerged as the foremost wholesale event for premium contemporary fashion
PROJECT’s focused and juried selection of the fashion industry’s most directional and saleable premium apparel, footwear and accessories combined with its unique, stylish and professional working environment for top retailers, stylists and editors has positioned PROJECT as the destination to find next year’s trends. PROJECT Global Tradeshows take place four times a year and are held bi-annually in New York and Las Vegas. Vendors are comprised of both established lines and exciting up-and-comers, with more than 600 exhibitors participating per season.
AHEAD OF HIS TIME In the mid nineties, trend-setting men and women, the cultural creatives, the music industry executives and the independent thinkers began to incorporate increasing amounts of designer denim and sportswear into their professional and casual wardrobes. It was then that Sam Ben-Avraham conceived of PROJECT; to showcase and support all that was happening globally in what was then an untapped market. And after PROJECT’s debut show, the industry stir, the amazing reaction from designers, manufacturers and retailers alike, one might argue that the premium market was born! Quickly thereafter, the idea of casual high-fashion tipped towards a more mainstream consciousness and now, the premium market is thriving. PROJECT has led that evolution. And PROJECT has supported that evolution. And as a result, PROJECT remains its epicenter; as the destination where the world’s best assortment of emerging designers and established collections created specifically for today’s tastemaker gather to showcase their product to the world’s most respected and progressive retailers.
