Brazil, country of the year
The largest market in Latin America, with 186 million inhabitants, and a major economic power, Brazil is today a vital commercial and strategic partner for French business.
It has substantial needs in the field of the environment: water and sewerage, municipal and industrial waste, air monitoring and treatment, polluted sites and soils…
And it is against such a background that the organizers of Pollutec decided, in conjunction with their international partners, to choose Brazil as country of the year for 2006. The project will be organized in close partnership with UNIDO, the CNI (National Confederation of Industry) and the local Trade Missions, and it will primarily focus on the country's 6 most economically important states: São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Parana, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
Brazil's participation will be built around:
A delegation of representatives from the Federal state as well as several of the individual states of Brazil.
A Pavilion (Stand Z70 - Hall 6) that brings together the CNI/National Confederation Industry and its “industry system” comprising: CIN- SENAI - IEL and SESI.
Business Meetings within the Al Invest Meeting programme organized at the show (pre-registration essential : see the conferences programme).
