Matelec 2006 renews its collaboration with electrical material exporters
MATELEC 2006, the International Exhibition of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Cables, Control Gear and Electrical Material, AMEC-AMELEC, in view of the thirteenth edition of the fair, which will take place between24th and 28th October 2006 at Feria de Madrid. The agreement was signed last 12th September on the premises of IFEMA-FERIA DE MADRID and will provide new impetus for the strategy of boosting the fair´s international dimension.
The collaboration agreement was signed by the Managing Director of IFEMA, Fermín Lucas, the President of AMELEC, Jaume Baldé, and the Managing Director of AMEC, Joan Tristany i Claret. The following figures were also present at the signing: the Director of AMEC-AMELEC, David Montanya; the Head of Marketing at IFEMA, Carlos González; the Head of MATELEC 2006, Alfonso de Borbón, and the fair´s Commercial Manager, María Martínez de Velasco. The renewal of the agreement with AMEC-AMELEC will provide a new boost to the campaign that has been undertaken to promote the fair in some of the leading foreign markets of interest, whilst establishing clear promotional objectives in those countries where there are favourable opportunities for sales of Spanish electrical products to be strengthened. In this respect, AMEC-AMELEC, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Cables, Control Gear and Electrical Material, acknowledges the support that the International Exhibition of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, MATELEC, has provided since 1994, by involving itself directly in the fair´s international expansion.
