An edition prepared to respond to the sales campaign for the first half of the year, which will display the contributions from 1,300 top companies, with extensive experience on the market.
Between 18th and 22nd January, the halls of the FERIA DE MADRID will host a new edition of INTERGIFT, one of the most important and representative international professional meetings for the consumer goods and household equipment sector where over 1,300 exhibiting companies will present their latest proposals and new products.
The main manufacturers, wholesalers, brand sellers, specialised companies in licenses and importers, as well as over a hundred foreign companies have once again chosen this trade fair as a platform for their promotion and business. An edition prepared to respond to the sales campaign for the first half of the year that will display the products from top companies with an extensive experience on the market and the capacity to continuously conceive and develop the most innovative product lines that will mark the trends for the next season.
As usual, and with the aim of optimising the trade visitors' time at the fair, the contents of INTERGIFT - January 2007 will be structured around ten sectors: Textile Selection, in Halls 1 and 1.1; Decoration Concept, in Halls 3 and 5; Tableware and Home Furnishings, in Hall 7; Decorative Elements, Ornamental Accessories, and Present-Day Design, in Hall 9; Unique Objects, in Halls 1.1. and 5.1; Miscellaneous Gifts, in Halls 2 and 2.1.; Fantasy and Design, in Halls 4 and 6, and Travel, in Hall 6.  This sectorisation also encompass a synergy in the groups of offer to achieve a greater visual effectiveness and the grouping of similar products that allows the areas of interest to be identified in a more agile and dynamic manner.
Another of the features of INTERGIFT is the high degree of loyalty of the exhibitors and the growing number of professionals who are registering, which encourages an important link between supply and demand.  At this edition, specifically, 95% of the companies have renewed their participation and the remaining 5% will correspond to new incorporations by companies with high quality products, brands, commercial networks and important presence on the market, both nationally and abroad. Under the purchaser heading, it is worth mentioning the visits of over 80,000 professionals at each edition, amongst which are mainly retailers, large department stores, wholesalers, as well as interior designers, architects, decorators and decision-makers in general specialised in the fitting out of large premises - hotels, restaurants, congress centres, hospitals...
INTERGIFT's history and current ranking on the international scene is the result of the strength and competitiveness of its exhibiting companies, as well as the effort that they make at each edition to turn each stand into a unique space devoted to information and trends. From this point of view, the staging of INTERGIFT offers professionals an extraordinary context where the latest in interior designs, new product presentation formulae, window dressing and a wide range of proposals aimed at stimulating commercial activity may be discovered.
As is customary, INTERGIFT will be staged within the framework of the International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery Week, and will coincide with BISUTEX, the Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, and IBERJOYA, the International Jewellery, Silverware, Watch and Related Industries Exhibition. The three fairs will make up a triple grand trade event that will bring together the offer of 2,100 companies over an exhibiting area of more than 100,000 square metres.
