Between 10th and 14th September, the halls at Feria de Madrid will stage the largest exhibition of consumer goods and home furnishings within the industry, in order to mark the fifty-fifth edition of INTERGIFT, the International Gift Fair. This fair, organised by IFEMA, will present a full house, based on the direct participation of more than 1,300 exhibiting companies.
The Intergift exhibition will be distributed throughout an area measuring more than 150,000 square metres, organised around seven wide-ranging sections and 11 halls: Atmósfera (Atmosphere) –halls 2, 4 and 5; Fantasía (Fantasy) –halls, 3, 5 and 5.1; Textil (Textile) –hall 1; Mesa Viva (Live Table) –hall 8; Elementos Decorativos (Decorative Elements) –hall 10; Regalos Diversos (Miscellaneous Gifts) –hall 9, and Viaje (Travel) –hall 5.
In this respect, Intergift will strengthen its status on the international fair calendar as one of the key points of reference for the trade and a leading forum at which professionals can obtain information and establish contacts. It is not surprising, therefore, that the leading manufacturers, large international brands, importers and, in general, all the companies that enjoy a prominent presence on the market, choose to take part at this fair edition after edition. Intergift takes place twice a year and, on this occasion, will present record figures in terms of business representation. The fair also acts as a "nursery" for a those up-and-coming enterprises who choose this event as a means of developing their business, based on a select and high-quality product.

In this respect, with still four months to go before the September edition itself, a strong level of foreign participation has already been confirmed, featuring the direct attendance of companies from Germany, Andorra, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Holland, India, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Turkey.
Under the heading of visitors, we might highlight the progressive increase in buyers from abroad, the result of the excellent image and reputation that Intergift has built up abroad, as well as the wide-ranging promotional campaigns and buyer programmes that are carried out, including the International Guest Programme, which is organised by Ifema in collaboration with the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Madrid. This initiative represents an important form of support for all those exhibitors who have an export vocation at the fair.
