Habitat Valencia Forward and Banco Cetelem join forces to drive furniture industry forward

Habitat Valencia Forward and Banco Cetelem are working together on a number of projects designed to find out how the furniture industry is evolving at the moment. Of the initiatives being rolled out, one of the most notable is the series of workshops that are being developed for retailers

The sessions focus on reflecting on the way that the consumption, manufacture and retailing of furniture has developed in Spain.
   
Through its Cetelem 2007 monitoring unit, the finance company is seeking to develop a forum for the retail sector to exchange opinions and obtain first-hand current information about the furniture industry, which is presently going through a process of redefining itself.

As an exhibition Habitat Valencia Forward keeps a permanent eye on how the furniture market is moving, playing an active part in the initiatives referred to above as they enable it to get to know what is really going on in the furniture industry and adapt accordingly.

In recent months the workshops have been held in other Spanish cities too such as Madrid, Murcia, Barcelona and Seville, with both institutions describing the results as very positive. The Director of External Relations and Research at Banco Cetelem, Salvador Maldonado, has claimed that "in view of the success we have achieved we are planning new projects where which both sides will work together to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation of the furniture industry in our country."
