International conferences on major issues in the beauty industry, from 11 to 13 September in Paris.
BEYOND BEAUTY PARIS is organizing conference cycles in order to provide a forum for exchanges involving issues in the beauty and cosmetics sector. The aim: to enable professionals to forge ahead together on common points of discussion. Access to conferences will be free for all those visiting BEYOND BEAUTY PARIS, providing concrete answers to the greatest number. THE CONFERENCES: BEYOND BEAUTY PARIS is an event structured around 4 trade shows: COSMEETING, CREATIVE, SPA & INSTITUT and INGREDIENTS. These four spaces will each have a special area for discussions. The BEYOND BEAUTY PARIS trade shows will offer conference cycles dealing with several themes. A real must… COSMEETING, the exhibition of the sector's cosmetics brands and new products, is planning to hold a special series of conferences on regulatory issues and access to foreign markets. The Fédération des Industries de la Parfumerie (French Federation of Fragrance Cosmetics and Toiletries - FIP), the co-organizer of these conferences, will focus especially on the following regions: China, North Asia, the United States, Canada, Iran, Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia. Then Françoise DASSETTO, the president of White Spirit, and Michel GUTSATZ, the general manager,will talk about the resurging power of mass-market distributors and new cosmetics distribution networks. CREATIVE, the international exhibition of beauty suppliers, promises to deal with issues such as the importance of packaging in brand strategy, and also cross-sectoring and its consequences on packaging. Françoise ALBASINI, editor-in-chief of the magazine Emballage Digest, will be assisted by many professionals in the sector. Together they will examine the various aspects of these issues. Professionals from the Fédération des Industries de la Parfumerie will talk about the good practices of the sector. SPA & INSTITUT, the beauty and well-being exhibition, promises a journey into the discovery of various civilizations and their traditional remedies (massages, skincare, etc). Galya ORTEGA, a therapist consultant, will explain her special techniques, philosophy and approaches in creating a brand's signature treatments and will take up the challenge of creating a special “SPA & INSTITUT” treatment. In addition, Olivier PETIT, associate director of BDO MG Hôtels & Tourisme, will reveal the first consolidated figures on the Spa business in France. Dominique PIERSON will tell us how to meet the demand of the Spa clientele (reception & service)! INGREDIENTS, the exhibition on raw materials and active ingredients, will lead you to discover the latest innovations. Denzil PHILIPS, taking part in the BEYOND BEAUTY TROPICAL program of the BEYOND BEAUTY LAB, will delve into the notion of “natural” while Wouter WIELS, director of the BEYOND BEAUTY LAB, will investigate future market orientations. Simon PITMAN, publisher of Decisionnewsmedia, will examine nanotechnologies in order to find solutions for incorporating technical advances into the process of creating cosmetics.
