Zimac has been involved in the woodworking machinery sector at an international level since 1976.
The company began by manufacturing simple loaders for moulding machines, then, over the years, went on to specialise in the construction of unloaders and all kinds of moving machinery ( chain, belt and roller transfer machinery) related to unloaders.
With the introduction of their vacuum systems in 1994, their range of products increased substantially. At first they were only used to facilitate sticking and desticking in sawmilling operations, but over the years, they have come to be used in a variety of application fields, which has in turn created new opportunities in the automation of loading/unloading lines for any type of machine tool whatsoever.
The company is involved in a variety of different sectors, from the light sawmilling industry to furniture-making, from the wood floor industry to the doors and windows industry, and the pallet industry.
Zimac's strongpoint is their skill in determining the right product to offer the customer - technologically advanced, designed and made specifically to suit the needs of the final user - together with an after-sales service that makes it possible for the customer to solve technical problems arising from the use of the machine in real time.

At Xylexpo 2006 ZIMAC srl is present with the new KUKA SYSTEM INTEGRATOR
The new KUKA palletisation robot, light, fast and strong, has been designed for high-speed with large loads.
The most advanced materials (material composed of carbon fibre - CFK) make it extremely light while maintaining great rigidity at all times. Its optimised FEM kinematics have been exactly fine-tuned for palletisation jobs.
On the basis of work requirements the robot can be customised with suction heads or with suction cups suitable for the type of wood to grip, case by case. Furthermore it is possible to fit mechanical grippers if the vacuum option is not possible.
With this new palletisation system Zimac proposes new work solutions whose applications allow customers to satisfy those needs which traditional systems do not offer.
