This gorgeous, yet comfortable lingerie collection launched in 2000 with just one thong. “I had been into wearing low-waisted jeans, but nobody had made a thong that was low enough. So I saw a niche, and I went for it.” She tested 15 different prototypes until she settled on what is now her “best-selling” low-rider thong.
The Underglam line quickly grew and six years later, includes: tanks, tees, bralets, camisoles, boycut shorts, thongs, undies, sleep pants, nightgowns and the famous “Fanny Shaper” – all available in vibrant, on-trend designs. While the line is considered incredibly stylish and cutting edge, Uderglam prides itself on maintaining a high level of comfort and functionality, while translating the most current fashion trends into fabulous lingerie.
Unlike some lingerie lines that deliver the same look and style year after year, Fritz views Underglam as a clothing line. “We try to make every season different—like an apparel collection—while always making the basics available.” Her creativity shines in her choice of materials—from mesh to lace—and in her color patterns—stripes, polka dots and cherries. Her efforts have had unexpected effects; “Customers are wearing our tank tops as outerwear, and our camisoles as yoga tops.”
