Giró Ribot S.A. is a family company specialized in the elaboration of champagne and wines With Penedés DO. The winery is located in Santa Fe del Penedes, in the heart of the Penedes Region in Barcelona. Said beautiful area in Catalonia, located half way between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona borders with the Mediterranean at the south and with the incredible Montserrat Mountain at the north. Almost 26.000 hectares of natural paradise that witness an extensive and noble historical tradition and beneficiary of excellent weather and orography conditions that have constituted an unquestionable environment for the cultivation and elaboration of high quality wines.

The winery is composed by 100 hectares of vineyards of the following grape varieties: Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada, Muscat and Chardonnay and they also select white varieties obtained from a 30 hectares additional vineyards owned by regular grape suppliers. Annual production reaches 1.000.000 bottles of champagne, white and rose wines with Penedes DO

Their products have been awarded with prices at national and international contest and the winery is very proud about the high quality wine production that is tasted by several countries on a daily basis. At present, the winery exports almost 70% of the production to USA, The Netherlands, Belgium, Japan, Denmark, Finland, etc.
