Electro Media Design, Ltd. em Hospitality Design Conference and Expo 2007
At Electro-Media Design Ltd., we are committed to a philosophy of client advocacy and technical excellence. As independent consultants, we will always act as our client’s advocate. We do not sell equipment, represent any manufacturers, or install equipment or systems.
We are committed to a philosophy of client and operator satisfaction. Our focus on operations informs our design approach, our classes, our articles, and our overall consulting perspective. This design approach has been developed over the years through extensive and ongoing dialogue with facility owners, system operators, and installation technicians. Each of these individuals contributes their unique perspective, allowing us to focus on designing systems that provide solutions to satisfy the real needs of our clients. Our systems are easy to assemble, install, service, and operate. We believe that a basic, simple design that continues to provide steady reliable service is always better than a sophisticated system that behaves unpredictably. For designing consistently elegant, reliable and high performing systems, we have developed the following five criteria that all of our designs must incorporate. We sometimes call these our Five Tenets of quality audiovisual system design. Electro-Media Design(ed) systems are . . . Reliable- Anything less than consistent, reliable service will affect the reputation of our systems and the properties where they are installed. Flexible- The architecture of flexible function spaces in modern facilities requires that the technical systems be equally multi-purpose. Easy To Use- Logical, intuitive controls permit quick setup and changes to the system configuration by users of all experience levels. High Performance- As the perception and expectation of a high quality auditory and visual experience increases in our clients, our audiovisual systems need to keep pace. Legibility, intelligibility, dynamic range and signal to noise ratios are just some of the areas where we must design to accommodate the heightened sophistication of our audiences. Cost-Effective- To be cost effective, each system component must be evaluated using the above quality criteria for cost and benefit. Does it enhance reliability, is it flexible, easy to use, and high performance.
