The Matarromera group is composed by several wineries, a liquor and brandy distilling houses.

The company specializes in production of wines registered under different D.O.

Some of them belong to the Ribera de Duero D.O.: for example Matarromera, Emina, Renacimiento and others such as Valdelosfrailes under Cigales D.O

The winery is located at the Duero’s River margin in Valladolid and its warehouses are semi buried in the north slope of the Duero Valley.

 
It applies high end technology for high quality red wines production.

 
It is equipped with temperature control systems and has stainless steel warehouses and equipments. Its production capacity reaches 650.000 liters.

 
The varieties of grapes used are: Tinta del País, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

 
Its average annual production is of 350.000 bottles of different wine types: Grandes Reservas, Reservas and Crianzas.

In 1998 Bodega Valdelosfrailes undertakes an ambitious investment plan by building two aging and bottling facilities equipped with best technology for quality wine production.

The winery has its own vineyards and the varieties used are: Tinta del País y Garnacha

Its production capacity is 395.000 bottles and produce different types of wine: Rose, Crianzas, Reservas, Grandes Reservas.
Its wine is characterized by its well cared production and a reduced product quantity.
