The story behind Gimenez&Zuazo

Marta Giménez and Jorge Zuazo were attracted to design 15 years ago. They met each other at university in Barcelona where they studied design together, and when they graduated, they decided to combine their talent and peculiar point of view in order to create an original women´s collection with a lot of personality.

This is how the first phase of Giménez&Zuazo starts in 1993, during which the zeal to show all that has been learnt is transmitted in every button, every application and every detail. Creating conceptual collections, very elaborated with creative garments and special fabrics…The Giménez&Zuazo woman has a great personality and an open mentality which makes her attracted to the exclusive and the innovative.

Maturity came naturally with time and this in turn brought the evolution of the brand and the launch of a new line called ¨Boba by Giménez&Zuazo¨ in 2001. This line, cute and exciting, full of colours and patterns, feminine and original becomes synonymous of youth, vitality and informality. It begins to be commercialized, reaching increasingly far away places every time. Six years after its launch, ¨Boba by Giménez&Zuazo¨ is sold in all major cities throughout Spain and also in France, Switzerland and Japan.

In 2006 Marta Giménez and Jorge Zuazo are awarded by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce the prize of ¨Best Company of its sector¨. Twelve years after its first proposition, starts the third phase of Giménez&Zuazo.

The designer´s collection Giménez&Zuazo awakens the senses with its textures and volumes proposing a unique style. Giménez&Zuazo looks after women who already have their own personal style and complement it with unique and exclusive collections that are very elegant and subtle at the same time.
