Autentico Jabugo S.L. was founded in 1985 in the region of Jabugo, that provides its name to the company. It is composed by ten firms of this town that manufacture Iberian products and the people of the village, represented by Jabugo´s city council. Its aim is to support and defend Jabugo´s guarantee of origin for the products manufactured in this region. One of the main objectives of Auténtico Jabugo S.L. is to inform about the privileged geographical situation Jabugo enjoys, which provides their products with a great quality and unique taste. Situated at 658 meters above sea level, Jabugo posesses a microclimate within the territory. It is a combination of Mediterranean climate that also receives winds from the Atlantic Ocean. This is a factor that influences the curing process of its hams and loins, providing them with incomparable aromatic blends. The dry and cold winds of the region serve the cellars and drying sheds of the zone for the curing of the hams and loins. This is the reason why they are situated at the highest parts of the region. This traditional artisan work makes the products from Autentico Jabugo S.L. an exclusive delicacy, with a unique texture and taste.
